Raised in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains, surrounded by an extended family of musicians and storytellers,Jason D.Thompson honed his particular style of country blues growing up on his family farm in Missouri. After theloss of the family farm Jason took to the road hopping trains and hitchhiking with guitar in hand. Once he hit thewest coast, Jason headed south for a solo journey through Mexico and eventually found himself touring acrossmainland Europe and the U.K. Throughout the years Jason has been lucky enough to share the stage with artistssuch as The Barnyard Stompers, Hollowbelly, Reed Turchi, Dylan Walshe & Long Line Down, among others. Jasoncan be found everywhere from street corners to festival stages such as the The Carolina Pine Music Festival, theVan Thom Weekender festival in Germany, and The Dark Holler Festival and Hen Fest in England. He now toursfull-time performing as a one man band or with his longtime drummer Kurtis Bento. In 2015 Jason self-recorded andreleased his first solo E.P. on his newly established record label Hollerin' Records. The album gained quickrecognition, acknowledged as one of the top 15 albums of 2015 by the Star News, and was featured on Radiolux inParis and Road Dogs Radio here in the states. Now a'days Jason and Kurtis tour extensively throughout the U.S.,Canada, and Europe and deliver a true American Roots Music Experience that keeps folks grinding on the dancefloor and drinking away their troubles.
